Duo Still Sought in October Flood Related Robbery

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) — Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott is requesting the community’s assistance identifying two suspects wanted for theft and fraud.

During October’s historic flooding in the state, the victim was helping others in need in the 6000 block of North Ridge Road, when the suspects went inside the victim’s unattended vehicle and stole his wallet, along with other personal items, officials say.

Authorities say the suspects used the victim’s credit cards at the following locations:

  • The Citgo station located at 2409 Percival Road
  • Little Caesars Pizza located at 2336 Decker Boulevard
  • Dollar General located at 2324 Decker Boulevard

The estimated total value is close to $400.

Sheriff Lott said the male suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid-20s, wearing a white t-shirt and black pants.

The second suspect is described as a black female in her early to mid-20s wearing a white shirt and black pants.
