GameDay: No BCS Bowl Talk For USC…Yet

This video is no longer available.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A win today against Arkansas will tie last year’s 6-2 SEC record as the best conference finish ever for Carolina football. Gamecocks fans have dreams of the Sugar Bowl dancing in their head. If Steve Spurrier does, he’s not talking about it. At least not yet. At his weekly press conference Tuesday, Spurrier said he hasn’t mentioned the possibility of a BCS bowl game to his team. “We got enough to talk about without talking about that one,” Spurrier said. “If we can finish strong we’ll see where it leads us, but just one game at a time right now.” ABCColumbia.com will have live updates throughout today’s Arkansas at #8 USC noon home game. For a full recap of all the day’s college football action, tune into ABC Columbia’s Gamecock Saturday Night after tonight’s Notre Dame at Boston College 8 p.m. game.
