Newberry suspect arrested after days on the run

Newberry Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Newberry Co. Deputies say James Peterson, 36, has been located and arrested for attempted burglary.

Deputies began the search for Peterson on Oct. 12 after they say he tried to break into a home in the Stoney Hill community.

Authorities say he has been taken to the Newberry Co. Detention Center where he awaits a bond hearing.
