SC governor speaks to state Chamber of Commerce
ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (AP) — Gov. Nikki Haley is speaking about business to business leaders from across South Carolina.
The governor speaks at noontime on Thursday to the annual business summit of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce on the Isle of Palms.
Prior to Haley’s remarks, there are a number of discussions about issues facing business ranging from health care and the state’s infrastructure to energy.
Thursday evening, the chamber honors state Senate President Pro Tem John Courson of Columbia as its public servant of the year. The group is also honoring Josef Kerscher of BMW as its business leader of the year.
