Holiday season events in the Midlands

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The holidays can be a busy time for shopping and decorations but there are plenty of events in the Midlands for people to enjoy.

Here are a few events to enjoy your holiday season:

• Carolina Lights at the SC State Fairgrounds – Experience the magic of the holiday season at the South Carolina State Fair’s 5th annual downtown drive-through light show.

• City of Orangeburg Parks & Recreation Department – The city is having different times before Christmas to meet Santa at Centennial Park.

• Richland County – Catch a free movie on Sunday, Dec. 17, from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. at Crane Creek Gymnasium hosted by Councilwoman Gretchen Barron.
