Dawn Staley honors grandparents with annual breakfast

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Gamecocks Women’s Basketball Coach Dawn Staley decided to honor her grandparents and grandparents everywhere this morning.

Staley and the health maintenance organization Absolute Total Care hosted a breakfast at Brookland Baptist Church in West Columbia on Nov.14.

Organizers say this morning’s meal was a tribute to grandparents for the important role they play in people’s lives and in the community.

This is the seventh year in a row the breakfast has been held.
