4 inmates to plead guilty for 2018 prison riot

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Four inmates involved in the deadly Lee Correctional Riot in 2018 are expected to plead guilty today.
The hearing starts at 2 p.m. at the Lee County Courthouse.
The State Department of Corrections says seven inmates died and dozens were injured in the riot on April 15, 2018, that started over contraband and illegal cell phones.
