Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Food Giveaway

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)- The holidays are here, and while it’s a time spent with friends, family, laughter, and cheer…many families continue to struggle just to put food on the table. That’s why one local church is stepping in to give back to those in need this Thanksgiving.

The Living Faith Christian Center is giving away 300 boxes full of all the Thanksgiving necessities, including turkey, stuffing, canned goods, sweet potatoes, collard greens, macaroni, and more!

This is the 4th year the church has put on the drive-thru event, and organizers say they’ve seen an increase in need for giveaways like this one as the price of groceries and expenses continue to rise for families.

The event kicks off at 10am on Saturday, November 18th, at the Living Faith Christian Center located at 1540 Frye Road, Columbia, SC 29203. Boxes are expected to go quick, so they encourage those in need to line up early.
