Man arrested after deadly stabbing in Sumter
One man is in custody after a deadly stabbing in Sumter County.

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) – One man is in custody after a deadly stabbing in Sumter County.
According to the Sumter Police Department, Marcus Shannon is in custody after being found after he initially lead officers on a search after a stabbing Friday night on king street.
Investigators say Shannon and the victim, 42-year-old Travis Roman were at a gathering of friends when they began to argue and fight, then Shannon grabbed a knife and stabbed Roman.
Roman was taken to the hospital where he died, according to the police department.
Shannon is being charged with murder and possession of a weapon during violent crime.
