Southwest raises prices on alcohol

CNN– The Transportation Security Administration expects this holiday week to be a record-setter for air travel so flying could be extra stressful.

If you’re thinking of winding down with a cocktail on the plane, you may have to pay more at least if you’re flying Southwest.

The air carrier just raised prices on all its in-flight liquor, beer, and wine.

The beer was $6 but now costs $7. The wine was $6 but is now $8.

Liquor went from $7 to $9 whether you get it straight or in a mixed drink.

Coffee, juice, soft drinks, tea, and water are still free except on flights of less than 175 miles when the only free beverage is water.
