Sumter County coroner releases more information on human remains found on Cimmaron Road
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The Sumter County Coroner’s Office released more information on the human remains found off Cimmaron Road on Sunday, said the coroner’s office.
According to the Coroner Robbie Baker, an autopsy conducted on Tuesday, Nov.28 revealed the person to have suffered from multiple gunshot wounds.
Coroner Baker says the body was determined to be an adult African American male ranging from 18 to 45 years of age with a slim build.
The man is believed to be around 5 foot 7 1⁄2 inches tall and weighs between 117 to 150 pounds.
The coroner’s office says several tattoos are on the man’s body.
One says “Murkcity” on the upper right chest with a skull design under it, another one is a lion’s head on the upper left chest and there is a tattoo on the left arm that has a phrase believed to say “Inhale the future, exhale the past” and more.
The autopsy was conducted at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.
