One dead after bus collision on Lee County Highway

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead after a bus collision on US-401 at Zena Lane, 9 miles South of Bishopville, said state troopers.

The collision happened on Nov.30 around 4:10 p.m.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a Honda Accord traveling north on US-401 collided with a bus that was also traveling north.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the bus was not injured.
