Midlands Area Treasured Trees Awards Ceremony

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of Columbia honored some treasured trees on Dec.1, 2023.

The Public Works Department, City of Columbia Forestry, and Midlands Area Treasured Trees Program held an awards ceremony to honor the winners of the treasured trees contest.

The Treasured Trees Program aims to preserve trees that have significant value to the community.

The ceremony was held at the Governor’s Mansion.
