Areas around the Midlands put up special mailboxes for Santa

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– It is that time of year for holiday cheer and to send letters to the guy in the red suit.

Children can find a special mailbox in different locations around the Midlands to send a letter to Santa.

In Sumter, children have until Dec.17 to send a letter directly to Santa who will try to respond to everyone by Christmas.

The City of Cayce Police Department is also getting into the Christmas spirit by having Santa’s mailbox in the police headquarters lobby.

The North Pole Express post will be picking up all of the letters until Dec.21.

In Newberry at Memorial Park, kids can take their letter for Santa and drop it inside his special mailbox at the park.

Anyone can see Santa’s replies in the local Newberry newspaper.
