Auto Supplier Adding 40 New Jobs in Aiken County

AIKEN, S.C. (AP) — A company that makes materials to reduce heat and noise in the passenger compartments of vehicles is expanding in Aiken County by adding 40 jobs.

Switzerland-based Autoneum announced it is spending $35 million on the expansion at its Aiken plant.

The company is now hiring for the new jobs in Aiken.

The company has 50 locations in 20 countries and employs about 11,000 workers worldwide.
