Clemson Seniors 0-3 Against Gamecocks

CLEMSON, S.C. (WOLO) — A Clemson win over South Carolina would more than likely place the Tigers in their 2nd consecutive BCS bowl matchup. But, a victory over their rival would mean the Clemson seniors would get their first win over the Gamecocks. USC has won the last three meetings dating back to 2009. “It’s a long list of things that this group has accomplished, a long list,” said Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney. But, the one thing they haven’t got done, they have not beat South Carolina. The list of things they haven’t gotten done is very short. But, that’s a biggie for them.” The Tiger seniors hope to end Carolina’s 3-game win streak Saturday in Death Valley. Quarterback Tajh Boyd said he imagined this will be one of the loudest games he has ever been a part of. Kickoff is set for just after 7pm.
