Troopers: 1 dead, two injured after Fairfield County two-vehicle collision
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is pronounced dead after an early morning two-vehicle collision in Fairfield County, says highway patrol.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the collision happened around 9:30 a.m. on US-213 on Monday, Dec.11.
The collision happened when a Dodge Pickup traveling North on US-213 hit a Ford Transit traveling West on Jenkinsville Road.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead and a passenger in the vehicle was taken by EMS to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The Dodge driver was taken by EMS to Newberry for injuries.
