Troopers investigating after Saturday morning collision leaves one person dead

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a collision that happened on Saturday morning, said state troopers.

The collision happened at the intersection of Garner’s Ferry Road and Butler Road around 4 a.m. on Dec. 16.

State troopers said a 2005 Saturn Sedan was traveling West on Garner’s Ferry Road when it went off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.

The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
