Troopers: Three dead in Orangeburg after tractor-trailer collision

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina state troopers say three people are dead after a collision in Orangeburg County on Tuesday.

The collision happened around 6:15 p.m. on  Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2 miles North of Orangeburg.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, a 2014 Freight-liner tractor-trailer was traveling West on Cross Creek Drive when it entered the intersection and was hit by a 2002 Ford Mustang traveling North on US-301.

All three people in the Mustang were killed.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.

The collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
