1 dead after West Columbia two-vehicle collision

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– One person was pronounced dead after a two-vehicle collision on Wednesday evening, said the West Columbia Police Department.

The collision happened at the intersection of Platt Springs Road and Dreher Road around 8:31 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 20.

One person was taken to a hospital where they later died.

The police department stated in a Facebook post they are currently investigating the collision.
