Martin “Ecstatic” About Contract Extension

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Frank Martin admits he had no idea the off-the-court challenges he faced four years ago taking over the South Carolina basketball program.  Coming off the school’s winningest regular season ever, Martin says he can’t wait to see where he can take the Gamecocks in the future.

Monday afternoon, Martin discussed his new contract extension at USC.  The new deal adds four more years to his contract and gives him a raise.  Martin is now signed through the 2021-22 season and will make $2.45 million next season.  Martin made $2.1 million last season when the Gamecocks finished with a 25-9 record.
