Watch: Team Clare Swimathon
Columbia,S.C. (WOLO) — It’s a very big issue, often affecting some very small people. LLS or the Leukemia and Lympoma Society of the Midlands is trying to everything they can to help aid in the fight against blood cancers. This year, LLS is hosting the Man/ Woman of the year contest to see who can raise the most money that stays right here in the Midlands for research.
Clare Morris is one of the local woman who has been taking part in the challenge before, but says she compelled to come back each year in attempt to win the title. But for her, It’s not about bragging rights. The goal is to save lives .
The Challenge and events begins tonight. Here are a list of the events you can take part in to help her reach her goal.
- Thursday April 7th – Clare-oke 7-9pm at Kelly’s in the Vista ( www.eventbright.com /e/clare-oke-tickets-23999360734)
- Tuesday April 12th – Ladies Spa Night at Spa 131 6pm-8pm (only 12 woman allowed)
- Friday April 22nd – Team Clare Swimathon at the Dowtown YMCA
- May 12th – Gala Downtown Columbia
