Arrest Made in Deadly Shooting on N. Beltine Blvd.
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A man is in custody following a domestic-related shooting Monday night.
52-year-old Roosevelt McLaughlin is charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder and possession of weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
According to officials, three people were shot during the incident at the Beltine Village Apartments located at 3027 North Beltline Boulevard.
McLaughlin was arrested at the scene after he allegedly shot and killed 24-year-old Shannon Weston.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said Tuesday that Weston died at the scene from complications of a gunshot wound.
Another male was shot in the leg, officials say.
Investigators believe McLaughlin argued with the female moments before the shooting.

The female suffered a gunshot wound to the hand.
McLaughlin is being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
