Fourth shooting in a week in Beaufort area
BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) — A man has been shot and killed in a restaurant in the fourth shooting in the Beaufort area in a week.
The Beaufort Gazette reported the latest shooting occurred Tuesday night when a man was killed in a sandwich shop by a man who entered the restaurant after him. The victim’s name has not been released and no arrests have been made.
Late Monday, a man was wounded with a gun during an argument between two groups of men outside an apartment.
On July 19, police arrested a man after he fired into a group of men playing basketball. Last weekend, another man was arrested after grazing a man and a woman with bullets during an argument at an apartment complex.
