2 displaced after fire spreads through two-story home
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Two people are displaced after a fire spread through a two-story Columbia home early Friday morning, says the Columbia-Richland Fire Department.
Firefighters say around 12:30 a.m. they worked to extinguish a fire on Whixley Lane.
When they arrived to the scene, crews found that the fire was spreading quickly through the home.
So they used multiple hose lines and a deck gun on Engine 32 to get the fire under control.
No one was reported as injured but two people were left displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
