Peloton and TikTok join forces to create fitness content
(CNN)– Peloton is partnering with TikTok to create short-form workout classes and other content.
On Thursday, the two companies announced TikTok will roll out a #TikTokFitness hub featuring a dedicated Peloton section.
It marks the first time the fitness company has produced social content to be used outside its own channels.
The deal brings together two companies that saw explosive growth during the pandemic.
But Peloton is attempting to rebrand after a series of public relations snafus and financial struggles.
The company’s stocks lost 76% of its value in 2021 and in 2023 it agreed to pay a $19 million penalty following a recall of 125 thousand unsafe Peloton treadmills.
