National Day of Prayer at the State House

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — People will gather at the State House to bow their heads and raise their hands in prayer.

Thursday is the National Day of Prayer.   It happens on the first Thursday of May every year.

This year’s theme is “Wake Up America.”

The official observance will be held from noon until 1:00 p.m. on the North Steps of the State House.
