Lexington Police Dept. Raises Funds for Relay for Life
LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) — You have a chance to grab a bite to eat, all while joining in on the fight to end cancer.
The Lexington Police Department will be at different Chick-fil-A locations collecting donations for Relay for Life.
Monday, the Lexington Police Department will be at the Chick-fil-A Saluda Pointe, located at 4295 Sunset Boulevard, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and then from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. collecting donations.
On Tuesday, the Lexington Police Department will be at the Chick-fil-A of Lexington, located at 5560 Sunset Boulevard, from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and then from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. collecting donations.
Officers will be collecting donations of cash or checks both inside the store and in the drive-thru lane. Chick-fil-A will be giving away complimentary treats for those who make a donation to Relay For Life.
Officers will also be selling Relay For Life raffle tickets for a YETI Hopper 40 soft sided cooler. Raffle tickets are $10 each. Only two hundred tickets will be sold. The winner of the YETI Hopper 40 will be chosen by random drawing during the Relay For Life event at the Lexington High School on May 13th.
