Victim of Fatal Car Accident on Shop Road Identified

20151207FataclaccidentRICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County Coroner has released the name of the individual who died after being struck by a motor vehicle early Tuesday morning.

Gary Watts said 70-year-old Alexander Huff of Columbia died from blunt force trauma to the upper body.

The incident happened on Shop Road at Bates Road.

He was taken to Palmetto Health Richland Hospital where he died.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol are still investigating the incident.
