Police: Two Men Face Charges Following Armed Robbery at Bush River Road Store

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO) – Two men are in custody following an alleged armed robbery at a Bush River store in May.

21-year-old Bradley Devon Brown and 23-year-old Michael Donny Knowles went to City Gas located in the 1300 block of Bush River Road on May 26, according to arrest warrants.

“Based on information detectives gathered during our investigation, Knowles went into the store armed with a pistol and demanded money while Brown waited outside in a getaway car,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said.

“They’re both in the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center on other charges and will be brought back to Lexington County to face the armed robbery charges soon.”

According to Koon, Brown and Knowles will also be charged with possessing a weapon during a violent crime.
