‘Slide the City’ This Saturday

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The official start of summer is June 20, but kids have been taking advantage of the warmer temperatures and soaking up more of the sun’s rays since the last day of school.

On Friday, Columbia Mayor Steve Benjamin announced that ‘Slide the City’ was making a return.

200 children will have a chance to enjoy a 1,000-foot waterslide to help beat the heat.
