Young people learn about the American system of government and politics

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) –Hundreds of South Carolina students gathered on the steps of the State House Friday. The teens took part in Palmetto Boys and Girls State. The event lets them celebrate the chosen candidates for the 2016 class. Governor Nikki Haley was among those participating.
