Coroner: Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Crash Involving City Bus

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – The Richland County Coroner has identified the victim in a crash involving a city bus earlier this month.

Gary Watts said 52-year-old George Arthur Stoudenmire succumbed Tuesday to injuries he sustained in the June 10 crash.

Watts said that incident happened at 12:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rosewood and Gills Creek Parkway in Columbia.

Stoudenmire was unrestrained when the vehicle struck the bus, say officials.

He died this morning, Watts said.

The Columbia Police Department is investigating the incident.
