Another inmate found stabbed at Richland County detention center, deputies say

 

Richland County Hires Former Federal Prosecutors To Review Alvin S. Glenn

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are investigating a stabbing that occurred last night at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, says the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

According to the department, deputies were called to ASGDC for a stabbing around 10 p.m. on Jan. 16.

Deputies said when they arrived a male inmate who was stabbed with a knife multiple times in the torso and in the hand spoke with them.

The victim stated another inmate stabbed him over an argument about food.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
