Pet of the Week: Roscoe!
LEXINGTON, CO (WOLO)- Meet Roscoe! This handsome 1.5 year old German Shephard, Labrador-Retriever mix is at Lexington County Animal Services waiting to find his forever home.
Roscoe was originally found as a stray, and was reclaimed by his owner. A few weeks later, Roscoe was found as a stray again, but this time, he was never reclaimed. Now, Roscoe is hoping to find a permanent spot in your home.
Still a young guy, Roscoe is very well-mannered, gentle, and calm, but would benefit from some basic training on the leash and simple commands like sit and stay in his new home. He is very treat motivated though, and picks up new skills quickly! Shelter staff say Roscoe is also great with other dogs and is currently kenneled with a puppy.
Now until February 3rd, Lexington County Animal Services is offering free adoptions in honor of this “FREE-zing” weather! Roscoe would love to be your couch and lap dog to cuddle with on these cold winter days.
Visit him and the many other pets up for adoption at 321 Ballpark Rd., in Lexington. All pets are fully vetted, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and ready to go home! Click here for more information.
