Columbia man suffers fatal neck injury diving into pool

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – A 26-year-old Columbia man died, after he broke his neck diving into a swimming pool Friday.

The Richland County Coroner said Michael McWhite died in the emergency room about 25 minutes after the accident.

It happened in the 7600 block of Garners Ferry Road in Columbia.
