TikToker goes viral for helping homeless man battling cancer

Here’s a story that restores your faith in humanity. What began as a routine trip to the grocery store for a Washington D.C.-based Tik-Toker turned into a mission to help a homeless man in the middle of treatments for prostate cancer. While vlogging her trip, college student, Sanai Graden was approached by Alonzo initially asking her for tea. Graden decided to go above and beyond – spending the entire day with the stranger making several stops.

Graden not only stopped at CVS to get him medicine, but also to get a green tea from Starbucks. After the five hour journey, Graden secured a hotel room for the stranger who’d been staying at a church. The video posted under her Tik-Tok username hustlanani has since gone viral on social media, as well as a GoFundMe campaign she started highlighting Alonzo’s struggle. That account has raised close to $300,000.  Sanai plans to create an Amazon Wishlist for essential items available to those interested in contributing. You can watch the video here
