WATCH: Kroger Marketplace at Killian’s Crossing Grand Opening

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – Employees and the community celebrated Kroger Marketplace grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday morning.

The 124,500-square-foot Marketplace is a first-of-its-kind concept for the Northeast Richland community and will add nearly 250 new jobs to the community.

“Kroger has been a part of Columbia, S.C., community for more than 30 years and is always looking for ways to better serve our customers,” says Glynn Jenkins, public relations director forKroger’s Atlanta Division. “We look forward to hosting the grand opening event and providing our customers with many new amenities that will enhance their shopping experience.”

The new Kroger Marketplace will feature:

–   Starbucks
–   Natures Market with Vitamin Shop
–   Apparel, Household and Home Décor Departments
–   Bistro with Chef Prepared Hot and Cold Meals
–   Floral Shop
–   Expanded Deli, Bakery, Beer and Wine Departments, with wine steward station
–   Baby World
–   Sandwich, bowls, wraps, hot chicken and BBQ stations
–   Fuel Center
