RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO) – A 20-year-old Richland County woman is behind bars after she allegedly made bomb threats at the business where she was working as a temporary employee.
Teyanna Johnson was arrested Tuesday at the Computer Science Corporation located on Wilson Boulevard and is charged with making a bomb threat or conveying false information about a bomb threat.
Authorities say Johnson made four phone calls and sent two emails between July 18 and July 19 making threats of a bomb at the business.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, Bomb Squad, and Columbia/Richland Fire Department were called to the scene and evacuated the business.
No suspicious items were located after a thorough search of the building, officials say.
Sheriff Leon Lott stated that no motive has been determined for the call or emails.
