How the rest of Alex Murdaugh’s money will be divided among victims

(WCIV)– The last of Alex Murdaugh’s assets will be divided amongst 16 different parties.

According to a court order the remaining $1.7 million dollars will be divided up between plaintiffs in lawsuits against the former lawyer, creditors, former colleagues and victims of his various thefts and legal malpractices.

According to the documents, the bulk of the money will go to the estate of Mallory Beach, the young woman killed in a boating accident involving Murdaugh’s son Paul.

Murdaugh was convicted of murdering Paul and his wife Maggie.
