Toddler Identified in Accidental Shooting Death

GASTON, S.C. (WOLO) -Brooklyn Samiya Davis, 3, was identified as the victim of a shooting earlier this month.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said Davis’ death is still being investigated by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department.

The toddler got her hands on a gun on Monday, July 18 around 12:30 p.m., officials said.

The incident happened on Glenn Road in Gaston.
