COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — Local law enforcement want you to celebrate National Night Out.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Officers across the state will have hundreds of officials out in at least 70 communities across the state this year.

Participating groups include:

• Columbia Police Department
• Richland County Sheriff’s Department
• Lexington Police Department
• Sumter County Sheriff’s Office
