Woman accused of leading police on chase with 4 kids in car identified, police say

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– A woman accused of leading Forest Acres officers on a chase with kids in her car identity has been released, said officers.

A Forest Acres Police Department spokesperson said, the woman is 37-years-old Ashley Nicole Baker from Columbia.

The department said Baker is still in custody at a local hospital. Her four children were released from the hospital.

South Carolina Highway Patrol was requested to investigate the car crash since it involves Forest Acres officers.
