Armed robbery at CVS causes two schools to go on lockdown

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– An early morning armed robbery caused two schools in the Two Notch Road area to go on lockdown on Tuesday, say Forest Acres Police.
The Forest Acres Police Department say officers responded to an armed robbery at a CVS on Two Notch Road around 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement say the armed suspect went into the store wearing a mask and demanded medication before leaving the scene.
FAPD called Richland County deputies to assist in finding the suspect with a RCSD K9.
Nearby schools Sanders Middle and Heyward Career Center were notified of the search for the armed suspect and went on lockdown.
