I-26 motorcycle collision leaves Harley rider dead

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Harley Davidson rider is dead following a collision on I-26, said state troopers.

The collision happened at mile marker 136, 5 miles west of St. Mathews around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29.

South Carolina Highway Patrol said the rider was traveling east on I-26 when the motorcycle went off the right side of the road and overturned.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
