Police: Sumter Men Busted Redeeming Stolen Lottery Tickets

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO) – It turns out two Sumter men did not hit the jackpot while redeeming lottery tickets. The move actually landed them in handcuffs. 23-year-old Marvin McBride and 25-year-old Johnathan Goodman were arrested Monday morning for breaking into Sumter Mini Mart and Tobacco on North Main Street. Police say they took an assortment of $3, $5, and $10 lottery tickets.
