Orangeburg firefighters save cat while battling devastating home fire

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Firefighters with the Orangeburg County Fire District helped reunite a homeowner with their beloved pet in the middle of battling a fire, said the department.

Orangeburg firefighters said in the midst of crackling flames and billowing smoke the homeowner’s cat was saved.

Once the cat was free and save from the home, both the cat and the homeowner was reunited.
