City of Columbia offering meter sponsorship to promote heart health

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–Columbia’s parking meters will be more colorful to bring awareness to heart health.
For the second year in a row the city is partnering with the American Heart Association for the campaign.
Five meters will be auctioned off in the Vista, Main Street, and Five Points.
Bidding starts at 500 dollars.
City officials say all proceeds go to the American Heart Association.
