DHEC wants your help tracking West Nile virus
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control wants your help tracking the West Nile virus.
DHEC officials say now through Nov.30, if you find any dead birds submit them to the department for testing.
There are instructions for the proper handling of the birds on the department’s website.
DHEC accepts submission of dead birds from March 15 until November 30 every year at all local DHEC offices.
