Hackers Strike Government Agency’s Website

WASHINGTON, D.C. (CNN) – Hackers have hit the Federal Reserve website. The Fed released a statement saying the the security breach was brief and did not affect critical operations. The government agency would not say what information was exposed. But a Twitter account claiming to be affiliated with hacker group “Anonymous” says it’s behind the attack and lifted the personal information of thousands of top bankers to post online.
